This website is owned and operated by SUNZiO, LLC, a Florida limited liability company in active status and good standing, doing business as SUNZiO AUTO and SUNZiO AUTO RENTALS.
References on this site to "we," "us," "our," or "SUNZiO" mean SUNZiO, LLC. References to "you" or "your" mean the person visiting this website or renting a vehicle from us.
By accessing or using sunzioauto.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
This website is provided for the purpose of browsing our fleet, checking availability, and requesting a reservation. You agree not to use the site to transmit unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its underlying systems, or to use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or overload the site.
All content on this site — including the SUNZiO name, logo, vehicle photography, page copy, and page design — is owned by SUNZiO, LLC or used with permission, and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.
Submitting the reservation form on this site creates a conditional reservation. You may sign the Florida Vehicle Rental Agreement and pay the reservation deposit immediately, but your reservation remains conditional until SUNZiO, LLC has validated every item you submitted: your driver's license (front and back), your verification selfie, and your proof of insurance, including direct confirmation of coverage with your carrier.
A signed rental agreement does not by itself constitute a confirmed reservation, and payment of the reservation deposit does not by itself constitute a confirmed reservation. No vehicle is released until validation is complete. Rates, availability, and vehicle assignments remain subject to change until a reservation is confirmed in writing.
If any submitted item cannot be validated, we will notify you by phone, text, and email at the contact information on your reservation, and will identify the specific item or items requiring attention. You will then have 48 hours from the time that notice is sent to supply the corrected item.
If the required items are not validated within that 48-hour period, your reservation is cancelled and your $150 reservation deposit is refunded in full. The 72-hour cancellation forfeiture described in our deposit terms does not apply to a cancellation arising from failed or incomplete document validation. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.
SUNZiO, LLC reserves the right to cancel any conditional reservation, at any time and at its sole discretion, where identity, license validity, or insurance coverage cannot be confirmed. Where a reservation is cancelled on these grounds, the reservation deposit is refunded in full.
Rate comparisons shown on this site reflect our good-faith estimates of comparable third-party listings at the time of publication, including that platform's typical added fees. Third-party pricing is set by those platforms and changes frequently; comparisons are illustrative and are not a guarantee of any specific savings.
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Vehicle rentals are governed by the signed Florida Vehicle Rental Agreement, which is the controlling contract between you and SUNZiO, LLC. Where anything on this website conflicts with the signed rental agreement, the signed rental agreement controls.
Your personal automobile insurance policy, or a qualifying third-party policy, is primary for any SUNZiO rental. We do not sell insurance and are not an insurance producer. You are responsible for confirming with your own insurer that your policy extends coverage to rental vehicles before your rental begins.
Vehicles in our fleet may be equipped with GPS or telematics devices used for fleet management, theft recovery, and maintenance monitoring. This is disclosed in the rental agreement. Location data collected from a vehicle is retained only as long as needed for those purposes, or as required by law, and is not sold.
We collect only what we need to rent you a vehicle safely and legally, and we do not sell your personal information.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not send marketing text messages or emails to reservation contacts unless you separately opt in.
We share personal information only with parties who need it to deliver the service or where the law requires it, including: our payment processor, our electronic signature provider, our insurance carrier and claims administrators, and law enforcement or government agencies when responding to a valid legal request, a vehicle theft, a subpoena, or a toll or traffic violation.
We retain rental records for the period required by Florida law and by our insurance and tax obligations, typically several years after a rental concludes.
Identity and insurance images are treated differently. Uploaded images of your driver's license, your verification selfie, and your insurance card are retained only as long as needed to validate your rental and to resolve any claim arising from it, and are deleted within 30 days of vehicle return unless an open claim, dispute, or legal obligation requires us to keep them longer. The underlying record of the rental — names, dates, and coverage confirmation — is retained; the images themselves are not.
If your reservation is cancelled because documents could not be validated, the uploaded images are deleted promptly after the deposit is refunded.
This site is served over HTTPS, and reservation and verification submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This site is not directed to children, and our rental minimum age is 25. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
This site uses a minimal number of cookies and similar technologies, limited to what is needed to keep the site working (for example, remembering your selections as you move through the reservation flow) and to understand aggregate traffic patterns.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent parts of the reservation flow from functioning correctly. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it as a request to opt out of any sharing of personal information.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, opt out of the sale or sharing of your information (we do not sell or share it), and be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, SUNZiO, LLC and its members, officers, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here modifies the terms of a signed rental agreement.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
