Know what to expect before you reserve.
SUNZiO keeps the process straightforward. These are the renter requirements and booking expectations currently used in the direct reservation flow. Your signed rental agreement will contain the final terms for your specific reservation.
Driver Verification
A valid driver's license is required for every approved driver. The reservation flow also collects a driver's-license front and back image and a selfie for verification.
Insurance
Qualifying insurance is required. You may use a qualifying personal auto policy or provide proof of separate rental coverage, subject to SUNZiO verification.
Payment & deposit
A valid payment method is required. A $150 deposit is collected securely after verification and completion of the rental agreement.
Pickup & return
Choose exact pickup and return dates, times and locations. Standard SUNZiO pickup locations have no additional delivery fee. For Custom / Other addresses, enter the address and SUNZiO will confirm any applicable delivery fee.
Availability & confirmation
Submitting a request does not by itself finalize the rental. Availability is checked, the renter information is verified, the agreement is completed, and SUNZiO confirms the reservation.
Vehicle-Specific Terms
Mileage limits, fuel or charging expectations, tolls, smoking, pets, cleaning, late returns and cancellation terms vary by vehicle and are outlined in your specific rental agreement. Review these terms in your agreement before signing.
